If using standard tungsten light bulbs the size is 60 watt. You can use spiral fluorescent bulbs which last a lot longer (4x), are less subject to burnout and put out a lot less heat and give more light. They can be slightly larger output. These lamps use 13-15 watts of electricity so are a lot cheaper to use and as we said last a lot longer. The ceiling light is 13" in width and needs approximately 7" of clearance including glass cap. We have a few older 13" styles still in stock which have a lower clearance but only support two lights. |
